Wd. Water Jet Eductors

Water Jet Eductors operate as utilizing the kinetic energy of motive liquid to cause the flow of another.

Some of the applications include the agitating of liquids, pumping, mixing, and the handling of slurries and granular solids.

Eductors are made of corrosion, erosion resistant materials.

They consist of the nozzle, diffuser and body, and it is similar to steam jet siphons except for the nozzle part.

The principle of operation is to convert the pressure energy of motive liquid into the velocity energy by the converging nozzle. The high velocity jet entrains the suction liquid while the mixture and transportation of both streams are completed through the transfer of energy of motive to suction.

The velocity of mixed stream is sufficient to discharge against back pressure.

Water Jet Eductors are used for removing condensate under vacuum, pumping wasted liquids, cleaning sludge from tanks, and mixing of chemicals, etc..
